Researching Promotional Campaigns

Make a new post, called Researching Cross Media Promotional Packages.

Find a recently released music video (s), preferably from the genre that you're considering working in.

Search smartly for as much as you can find on how the music song was promoted - include music video, website links, posters, links to radio interviews etc.
Can you find any evidence of merchandising or tie-ins?
Was the song used synergistically to promote another media product, e.g. a game / film?
How did the promotional campaign use social media?
Are there specific features used in all products - fonts, costumes, colours, themes etc.

REFLECT
What has this taught you? What do you need to ensure your promotional package does? Has this given you any new ideas (create a new blog post - Inspiration from promotional package research).
